Bobby's Food Co
When Big Boyz Barbecue wanted to change their name, we worked with owner and chef Bobby directly to create Bobby’s Food Co. The colorful graphics, fonts, and designs were inspired by both Bobby’s diverse menu and charismatic attitude.
After completing the rebrand job, we continued to work with Bobby to develop a social media and content marketing strategy to attract more catering business and raise awareness of the food truck.
Kansas Medical Clinic
For 25 years Kansas Medical Clinic has led the way in specialty health care by staying inventive and innovative. When we were tasked to help design graphics and content alongside their internal marketing department, we kept that same approach by using a variety of shapes, colors, gradients, and images to help KMC stand out in the usually dull world of the health industry.
We assisted with a variety of creative and administrative services such as graphic design, photography, videography, website design, Google Business management, and more.
Dog Day Afternoon
We. Love. Dogs. So when we had the chance to work with Julie Castaneda and her team at Dog Day Afternoon we were slightly more excited than usual. We helped DDA roll out Facebook Ads, an Instagram account, update their brand image and print package, and worked with Julie herself towards publishing her first book, Dog Church.
As DDA continues to expand into areas like retail merchandise and advancements in their dog programs, we navigate through the creative fields that help keep them the leader of the pack.
Arts & Craftsman Workshop
When David Corr decided to open a new makerspace in Downtown Topeka, we were excited to not just help him with a brand rollout, but follow him over to the new space and build out a new office for ourselves. Arts & Craftsman Workshop is a community focused makerspace, that helps connect local creatives to the resources they need.
The ACW logo is as simplistic as most designs get. Keeping it as minimal as possible, allowed us maximum room to modify it when we needed to. With orange as a primary color, the brand instantly stood out amongst the shades of blue that surround many professional businesses of today.
Beyond the design work, we created an informative website and social media channels to grow the member list at ACW, as well as short videos that highlight some of the incredibly talented makers who call this place home.
10 Second Ice Cream
When the Cyrus Hotel opened just three blocks away from our office in Downtown Topeka, there was a whirlwind of excitement throughout the entire city. We worked with the internal staff of the hotel alongside their parent company Aparium to roll out a social media frenzy focused on connecting the high end boutique hotel with a community who has never seen anything like it before.
Capturing routine photos of the exterior, interior, events, and food of the hotel was challenging - due to the magnitude of the of the Cyrus Hotel itself. Over 2,000 photos were shot during the first six months of opening, and along with that came graphics, video, and implementation across all social media platforms and PR related work.
Old Fasioned Promo
Since 2016 we’ve helped the ARTSConnect organization grow with and connect to the arts community that it empowers every day. Through routine photography, design, and video work we help contribute to the public awareness of the arts both online and in the real world. We work alongside the Marketing Board when piecing together larger projects like the Arty Party, Arty Awards, the 130 foot Brown vs Board Mural, and more.
Developing an Instagram account was instrumental in our marketing efforts, to use as a hub that can showcase both our own creative work for ARTSConnect, and repost all the incredible local art that was being made daily throughout Topeka.
Supporting the arts in our community and abroad is extremely important to us as a business, and as individual people. Our partnership with ARTSConnect continues to help us connect and collaborate alongside more creators in Topeka.
39 West Feature
In business for over 20 years, Tradepost Entertainment has navigated the challenging landscape of movies, games, and music that has shifted heavily from retail sales to streaming services recently. Working with their existing logo design, we expanded the Tradepost brand to include a full design guideline to roll out new in-store signage, website graphics, and social media publications that connected more with their consumers.
Developing bright, colorful graphics based around their primary colors helped create a stronger brand identity that is a necessity in any retail marketing efforts. We also monitored release dates and worked with internal staff to feature high performing merchandise both in print and digital ads.
Hot In Topeka
Burlesque celebrates diversity and individuality, and so when creating the brand for Hot in Topeka - a Burlesque and Variety Show - we designed themes for each and every show to celebrate that ideology. Colorful palettes and unique fonts mixed with professional photos helped bring the lively energy of the events to print and digital. Shooting a group of sparkly half dressed people strutting down Jackson Ave in front of Jayhawk Theatre was also a highlight of our work.
Developing a brand image for Kujima Health stretched across the creative landscape. Working closely with founder Chris ‘The Health Hippie’ Omni, MPH - we rolled out a campaign that included design for print and web, photo, video, web design, and social media.
This project was highlighted with the creation of The Kujima Report, a 28 page magazine style booklet that brought the health disparities of black women to light.
In addition to The Kujima Report, we included a brand refresh with print materials to match, a new website design, and a billboard.
